How to synchronize your first bank on iPaidthat ?

Let's see how to connect your first bank to automatically import your bank transactions.

The bank is one of the most important sections on iPaidThat. It allows you to be notified of your missing invoices, so that you are no longer reminded by your accountant!

Accounting documents are automatically linked with the corresponding bank transactions.

iPaidThat will therefore notify you of the missing documents for your accounting 💳➜🧾➜🔔


How to synchronize your first bank on iPaidThat?

Once connected to your iPaidThat account, go to the Bank section which you can find on the left with the Bank icon.

You then need to find the bank in your organization that you want to sync with your iPaidThat account.

For synchronization with your bank accounts, iPaidThat goes through two trusted partners Bankin' (Bridge by Bankin') & Budget Insight.

Depending on the choice of your bank, you will be redirected either to the Bankin' platform (left visual) or to the Budget Insight platform (right visual).

🟢 For a synchronization with Bankin'

1️⃣ Validate the general conditions of use

You must validate the general conditions of use, this allows you to validate the fact of wanting to view your bank lines in read-only mode on your iPaidThat account.

2️⃣Enter a contact email address

You must then enter a contact email address to inform you of possible developments and changes to European regulations.

3️⃣ Enter your credentials

To synchronize your bank with your iPaidThat account, you must enter your identifiers as in your banking space.

4️⃣ Verification (optional)

Depending on the bank you have selected, you may be taken to a bank verification step via a code that you will most often receive on your phone.

Once done, your account will sync with iPaidThat. (This may take a few moments.)

5️⃣ Select accounts to sync

Back to your iPaidThat account after syncing your bank. You need to select the accounts you want to sync.

Then click Save.

Your bank lines will be synchronized, do not hesitate to refresh the page after a few moments.


🟢 Pour une synchronisation avec Budget Insight

ℹ️ iPaidThat is able to recover data from more than 300 banks thanks to its two trusted partners Bankin' & Budget Insight, including neo-banks (Qonto, Stripe, Paypal...)

ℹ️ Bank transactions will be retrieved daily from this connection.

iPaidThat will then go back over a history of 3 to 5 months depending on the bank.

ℹ️ It is also possible to import your bank statements on iPaidThat.
